About FieldLab Research

FieldLab Research is a mobile app for creating projects, building custom forms, collecting structured observations, and exporting CSV or JSON datasets.

Common Help Topics

Creating a project

Open the app and tap New Research Project. You can start from a blank project or choose a starter template.

Adding fields

Open a project, go to the form builder, and add fields such as text, number, dropdown, rating, or yes/no fields.

Collecting observations

Open a project and choose Collect Data. Fill out the form and save the observation.

Editing observations

Open a saved observation and use the available edit controls to update the observation fields.

Exporting data

Open a project and choose Export Dataset. You can export CSV or JSON, copy text, generate files, share files, or email files when supported by your device.

Privacy

FieldLab Research stores project and observation data locally on your device. The app does not sell, store, upload, share, or use your research data.
